Barking Bags is a relatively new company selling bags to make responsible dog walking safe and convenient. In 2021 we won the Best New Business at the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) Awards.
Barking Bags were also nominated in two other categories at the Pet Industry Federation Awards (PIF) and were finalists in three categories at the Pet Quip awards.
Designed with input from young British fashion designers these stylish and multifunctional bags offer the wearer the flexibility to use them cross body or as a bum bag, helping dog walkers to carry everything they need without compromising on style. They are weatherproof and suitable for any climate or environment.
Barking Bags were launched at CRUFTs and met with high acclaim. Customers love the treat pockets, poo bag dispenser, mesh pockets for water and soggy toys, a safe place for your mobile and other special features.
They come with compostable poo bags and food samples, packaged here in the UK at MK SNAP - a local charity working with adults with learning difficulties.

Retail Trade Information
Barking Bags are the original award-winning British Company offering a range of dog walking bags.
A growing number of retail customers and charities have expressed an interest, asking if we are able to offer a wholesale option. Until now, we have been unable to do so. However, thanks to advice and investment following our appearance on Dragons’ Den, we have been able to start working with a manufacturer, recommended by Sara Davis and her team. The manufacturer is now able to produce a limited range of bags at prices that makes them attractive for retailers.
If you take the opportunity to make retail purchases, we will direct customers to you and make the most of social media advertising to raise your profile too. We are planning to use the opportunity afforded to us following our appearance on the BBC to roll out a campaign throughout 2022, aimed at encouraging dog walkers to consider their responsibility in reducing dog fouling and the dangers associated with not dealing with dog waste appropriately.

In the lead up to Crufts 2022, we are offering the best-selling products to our retail clients. The Black Bag with reflective straps and the Blue Paw Print vegan bag. Other bags will be available later in the year.

The original blue paw print bag with an extra wide, breathable mesh side pocket, is suitable for carrying the bagged unmentionable stuff or wet balls or toys.
These bags come with fabric edging, rather than leather, which make them attractive to vegan and vegetarian customers. These funky designs are eye catching and very popular.
The bags are made from quality waterproof synthetic material and lined with a waterproof fabric. This waterproof outdoor PVC paw print fabric has a polyester base with a PVC backing. This fabric can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth, using mild detergent if required.
These unisex bags are clearly made with dog walkers in mind. As with all our bags, they are multifunctional, with two breathable side pockets, to hold a water bottle, balls or soggy toys. There is an easily accessible section for treats, a handy poo bag dispenser, pocket for your hand sanitiser, a large inside compartment for all your essentials which can be sealed using the simple drawstring and a pocket on the back large enough for most phones.
They are designed as a cross body bag and the strap is both comfortable and extendable. However, the they also have clips at the back allow the user to attach the bags to their own belt. The metal carabiners on the front of the bag are to feed your imagination, for whistles, clickers, or collapsible bowls. They aren’t designed for clipping dogs to as they could rip if used in this way.

What makes the new range of Barking Bags special?
The new bags have extra features, including fluorescent straps and a draw string sealable main compartment to help make walking safer, especially when the dark winter nights draw in. They are made from quality water resistant fabric and are multifunctional so you can adapt them to meet your needs. They all have breathable side pockets to hold a water bottle, balls or soggy toys. There is an easily accessible section for treats, a handy poo bag dispenser, pocket for your hand sanitiser, a large main compartment for all your essentials and a pocket on the back for your phone or keys.

As a cross body bag the strap is both comfortable and extendable. However, they also have clips at the back allow the user to attach the bag to their own belt and wear as a bum-bag. The metal carabiners at the front of the bag are useful to clip a panic alarm and a collapsible water bowl and they can hold toys, clickers, etc, We don’t recommend hanging keys on them as they sit outside the bag and they aren’t designed for clipping your dog to.

Conditions for Sales

| Returns | Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order should you wish to return it. Items should be unused and in a resalable condition. You must pay the cost of returning an order. We suggest you use a signed for or insured method of delivery. If you are returning an item for exchange, then you will need to pay for the delivery of the exchanged item. |
| What if my customers want a different design | We are unable to offer all our products at wholesale at the moment. However, if you are interested in another fabric or design let us know and we will look into this. |

Terms and Conditions

DEFINITIONS
“The Seller” means Barking Bags ltd. “The Buyer” means the person, partnership, firm or company which places the order with the seller. “The goods” means the article, products or items described in the order. “The Order” means the order placed by the buyer for the supply of the goods. Barking Bags Ltd reserves, the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you and the changes will take place on the day they are posted. Any such changes will be posted on our website. When an order is placed with Barking Bags Ltd the buyer is agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
TRADE ACCOUNTS
Barking Bags Ltd (Seller) requires evidence of business trading before supplying any potential buyer. The buyer must provide documentary proof where required (i.e. VAT Certificate, Business invoices, etc.), as well as a fully completed Barking Bags Ltd trade application form which can be requested by emailing info@barkingbags.co.uk.
The Seller reserves the right to reject any application they feel is not a ‘bona fide’ trader or which does not suit or represent the brand.
QUOTATIONS
Prices and charges quoted are based on costs prevailing at the date of quotation and are not offers. If these costs increase before the date of delivery, Barking Bags Ltd reserves the right to amend the prices and/or charges accordingly. Barking Bags Ltd reserves, the right to refuse the acceptance by the buyer of a quotation unless such quotation is stated to be open for a specific period and is not withdrawn within such period. Quotations are deemed to be withdrawn unless so accepted within 30 days from their issued statement. Prices quoted are for stipulated quantities and delivery rates only and do not necessarily hold good for other quantities or other delivery rates.
ORDERS
Orders placed by the buyer are subject to acceptance by Barking Bags Ltd. The buyer may not cancel the order without the written consent of Barking Bags Ltd. Barking Bags reserves the right to accept or refuse orders or to impose a handling charge for orders under the standard quantities as specified by Barking Bags Ltd from time to time in line with Barking Bags Ltd price list and or sales literature. Barking Bags reserves the right (without prejudice to any other remedy) to cancel or suspend delivery of all or part of any order in the event of the commitments of the Buyer with Barking Bags Ltd not being met, or if in the absolute opinion of Barking Bags Ltd such commitments may or will not be met by the buyer within a reasonable time.
DELIVERY
'Delivery' shall mean the delivery of the Products by Barking Bags Ltd whether by way of delivery by or for and on behalf of Barking Bags Ltd. Barking Bags Ltd may effect delivery by instalments in which case these Terms shall apply to each instalment as though a separate contract and any failure or defect in any one delivery will not entitle the buyer to repudiate the contract as a whole. When delivery in instalments is chosen by Barking Bags, an invoice showing the price of the products at the time of each shipment will be prepared by Barking Bags and the buyer shall pay the amount of this invoice within the terms stated from the time of delivery. Any dates quoted for delivery of the products are approximate only and Barking Bags Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatever due to delay in delivery of the products howsoever caused. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract. On delivery the buyer shall mark the delivery advice note with details of any shortages and/or damaged Products received and shall forthwith deliver (or within 2 working days) to Barking Bags Ltd a damage report signed by the buyer in such form as Barking Bags Ltd shall request. If the buyer fails to deliver any such report then the correct quantity and quality of the Products shall be conclusively presumed to have been delivered and to be in all respects in accordance with the specification (where applicable) and, accordingly, the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted and Barking Bags ltd shall be deemed to have delivered promptly the Products in question and Barking Bags shall have no liability to the buyer with respect to those Products or otherwise.
CARRIAGE
UK Mainland & Northern Ireland Orders with a total value above £500 Ex VAT are carriage paid. Orders of a value under £500 will incur a shipping fee of 10% of the total order value ex VAT. The Minimum order value for trade customers is £150 Ex VAT Non UK Mainland Will need to be quoted on a case-by-case basis, please contact info@barkingbags.co.uk.
PAYMENTS
All new buyers are required to pay their first three orders on a pro-forma basis by banker’s draft unless prior arrangement has been agreed with the Seller. Following this a credit application form may be requested by the buyer for a 30-day account. We reserve the right to credit check and references given by the buyer will be followed up. In the event of a failed or late payment, future transactions may be conducted on a proforma basis only and any charges will be passed on to the buyer. Barking Bags Ltd may reduce or retract a credit limit if regular late payments are made. All stock remains the property of Barking Bags until all invoices are settled in full. Our payment terms for credit accounts are 30 days from date of invoice and late payment charges and interest may be incurred if these terms are not adhered to. If a credit account is not used for a period longer than 6 months, the seller may require proforma payment or a credit application form to be re-submitted to continue on a credit basis.
PRICING
It is the seller’s policy to comply with the Code of Practice for Traders on price indications issued by the D.T.I Consumer and Competitions Policy Directorate. SRP means Suggested Retail Price. Barking Bags Ltd provides minimum suggested selling prices for some of the ranges. The minimum suggested selling prices are intended as guidelines only.
WARRANTIES
The Supplier warrants that: the Supplier has (or will have at the relevant time) the right to sell the Products; the Products correspond to any description of the Products supplied by the Supplier to the Customer; The Products are of satisfactory quality; The Products are fit for any purpose expressly or impliedly made known by the Customer to the Supplier before the relevant Contract is made; The Products correspond to any sample of the Products supplied by the Supplier to the Customer, and will be free from any defect making their quality unsatisfactory, which would not be apparent on reasonable examination of the sample; The Products will comply with all laws, rules, regulations applicable to the marketing and sale of the Products in United Kingdom; and The Products will bear all mandatory marks and signs associated with the laws, rules, regulations, and standards of the UK.
