We are proud to be supporting The Great Willen Woof, Willen Hospice’s first ever live GPS tracked dog walk game! Taking place on 22 and 24 February from the Willen Hospice Gardens, families, friends and canine companions form a team then use a bespoke app to navigate around the Willen area, completing family and dog friendly challenges as they go. A perfect day out over the February half-term. Find out more here: http://ow.ly/4FO230n75Xa

Barking Bags have set up a working partnership with learners from MK SNAP. The learners are busy at the moment assembling and packing our dog walking bags with goodies ready for CRUFTS. Barking Bags are thrilled to be able to provide real work opportunities for the learners – it is such an inspirational organization. We know the work is supported and supervised so we can guarantee high- quality and we are delighted to hear that everyone is enjoying the work and learning new skills. It is a win-win for us all and as Barking Bags continues to grow we will look for new opportunities to work in partnership with them. We are really proud to be part of the team and the opportunities given to the learners through this amazing organization. http://mksnap.org/work-training/

We attended our first Winter fair this weekend at Camphill in Milton Keynes. Camphill is a working community of 70 people, for adults with learning difficulties but sufficient independence to benefit from an urban situation. Partly integrated into the surrounding community, the eight households of Camphill Milton Keynes offer a secure and stimulating environment. It was wonderful to be able to support the charity by attending the fair and we bagged ourselves some lovely crafts too.

After a terrific weekend at the National Pet Show in the Birmingham NEC we are now gearing up for Christmas. The NEC event is annual, and we were really impressed with the show and the range of activities and stalls. It was great to meet so many amazing dog lovers too, including Noel Fitzpatrick, super vet and Michaela Strachan.

Thanks to everyone who came to see us at Discover Dogs. It was our first big event and we were really encouraged by the positive feedback. It was lovely to meet so many enthusiastic dog owners and to get a chance to see so many lovely dogs.

If you brought a bag from us, we hope you enjoy using it and we welcome any feedback. If you are at the NEC National Pet Show do come and see us, we are on stall M51.
